Anjums Studio

This series is inspired by the rocks, cliffs, and canyons…… full of color and unusual texture. Layer upon layer has been applied on the canvas to create an intricate and complex statement. Crumbling Brick, rusting metal, and rotting wood are a source of inspiration. In my observations, I also see similarities between the processes that occur in nature and those that drive us. By combining both man-made and natural elements within my work I hope to highlight the fact that we are not separate from nature but are, in fact, part of it. The Interplay of Warm and Cool colors..give my paintings a sense of power and passion, along with peace and tranquility.
